Pineapple Pizza

By: Abigayle Geisel [Johnstown, PA]

What do I believe? Well, I believe pineapple pizza is good.

I believe you should try new things. I believe a lot of things, many of which seem rather trivial. I could spend an hour arguing with someone about pizza, but where will that get me? Nowhere.

Apollos and I are merely servants who helped you to have faith. It was the Lord who made it all happen. I planted the seeds, Apollos watered them, but God made them sprout and grow.
1 Corinthians 3:5–6 (CEV)

What about my core beliefs? I believe in Jesus. Would spending five minutes telling someone his story matter? But how could anything I say matter? I’m only a teen.

When I read 1 Corinthians 3:5–9, I realize that what I believe does matter. If I am willing to plant seeds, God will do the rest. What else do I believe? I believe I can make a difference.

THINK ABOUT THIS: “Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.”
—Robert Louis Stevenson

What seeds are you planting that God might use to make a real difference in someone’s life?
